I began teaching at RHS this year. I teach English III, and I absolutely adore teaching juniors. I plan on teaching many more year here with RHS.
Caldwell Parish Junior High – Columbia, La. (2017 – 2021)
I taught 7th grade ELA at CPJH for a total of four school years. I fell in love with those babies, and I hated to leave them behind. I know they will do great things, and I plan on supporting them every step of the way. However, I needed to find a job closer to home, since I have my own kids that need their mom here.
State of Louisiana / DCFS – Monroe, La. (2008 –2017)
I worked for DCFS for almost ten years. I was a Social Service Analyst II for the SNAP, FITAP, CCAP, and KCSP programs.
I am married, but we are going through a divorce. I am not upset in the least. Sometimes our plans don’t work out because God has other plans in store for us. I am excited to see what’s ahead for me.
I have three children – James, 25, Cassie 21, and my youngest, Lindsey, 14. My older two children have their own lives outside of my home. They are great kiddos, and I love every second I get to spend with them. Lindsey attends WMHS, since we reside in West Monroe. She is a freshman this year, and so far, she is having a great school year.
We have three animals, a dog and two cats. Our goofy, hound dog, Maggie, is named after a character from “The Walking Dead.” The two cats we have, Crowley and Ruby, are both named after characters from the show “Supernatural.”
