This is my second year at Richwood High School and I am so excited to be a part of the Richwood High School RAM FAM! I currently teach Senior English (English IV), Dual Enrollment English, and Sophmore English (English II).
I started teaching in 2019 at Caldwell Parish Junior High. I taught at that school for 2.5 years. Before that I worked at ULM as a graduate assistant for three amazing professors who helped me form my teaching philosophy. I believe that the person of the student must come first and then the education of the person can begin.
I am 37 years old. I have been married to my husband, Morgan Day, for 17 years. We have four children together. Their names are Addie (16), Abagail (14), Ana (7) and Austin (6). We have four pets as well. We have two dogs, Charlie (a husky) and Paisley (a mixed breed) and two cats (Chloe and Josie).
I have several hobbies that keep me pretty busy. I am a very “crafty” person and I love to try to learn new things. I also LOVE to read. When I’m not teaching I am usually with my family or attending one of my children’s activities.
